Still hot from the oven of our research department, CycleLabs, today we release a new tool that aims to make their lives easier for all Flex3 professionals out there: Antialiaser.
Antialiaser is an AIR application (a multi-platform, desktop application) for programmers and designers, both experienced and newbies, who work in application development using Flex Builder or Flash Builder, and want to seamlessly include custom typography in their projects.
With Antialiaser, not only can you pick typographies for your application among those installed on your computer, or downloaded from the Internet — you may also tweak all settings for those fonts easily and in real time. While you do so, you are accurately previewing the result as it will appear later in your Flex project. This ability frees designers from getting distracted with the many particularities of font configuration in Flex, letting them focus on what’s important: using their creativity to craft the most apt and beautiful fonts for their applications. Finally, note that all those fine settings and tweaks will be saved as plain CSS styles, so that you can very easily copy’n'paste into your Flex project.
